Solar Panels & Battery Storage in Milngavie

Milngavie's bungalows and interwar semis tend to have simple, uncluttered roof slopes, which is exactly what solar wants: a decent unbroken area without dormers and valleys carving it up. Add a commuter household that charges a car overnight and uses power in the evening, and battery storage starts to make real sense rather than just sounding good.

As an MCS certified installer we design every system around your actual roof and how your home uses power. We size the panels, the inverter and the battery to your usage so the electricity you generate during the day powers your evening instead of being exported for next to nothing. That is where the saving is. Everything from the panels down to the consumer unit is wired, tested and certified.

Your questions, answered

How much does a system cost?

A typical domestic system with battery storage runs from around £7,000 to £12,000 in the UK depending on array size and battery. You get a full design and a competitive price in writing before anything is ordered.

Is my roof suitable?

Most are. South-facing is ideal but east and west still perform well. We assess orientation, pitch and shading honestly and will tell you if it does not stack up.

Can I add a battery later?

Yes, though fitting it at the same time is usually cheaper and tidier. We will price both options so you can decide.

Ready for electrics done properly?

Competitive prices, certified work and an immaculate finish, on every single job.
